"I asked for the IgG-glaidin test that you recommend. But the lab has refused to do it. What evidence do you have that shows the IgG-gliadin test to be useful? Should I insist?"
I have over 1000 people on gluten-free diets. But only 50 have coeliac disease. The remainder are gluten-sensitive - they have The Gluten Syndrome. These people, have high IgG-gliadin antibodies and they feel remarkably better when on a gluten-free diet. They are convinced that they get sick with gluten. Unfortunately, most medics only recommend a gluten-free diet to confirmed coeliacs. This is narrow thinking. I have presented my data to a number of medical and gastro-enterology conferences over the last few years. This data has been very well received. More and more medics are recognizing The Gluten Syndrome. See the Abstracts (in the document section) for the details. Do a search on this webpage for "Abstract"
