Does my family need to be tested?

Yes, if you are gluten-sensitive. then the rest of your family should be tested for gluten. There is a high chance of other members of your family being affected by gluten.  All your family should have a blood test, including the IgG-gliadin tests.

For coeliac disease, 10% of first degree relatives will also have coeliac disease.

For The Gluten Syndrome - about one in four of the family are affected.

The gene test for coeliac disease (HLA DQ2/DQ8) is also a useful test.
