What if I do not go gluten-free?
If you have celiac disease and do not follow the gluten-free diet, then your bowel will progressively get more damaged and you will become very unwell. You must follow a strict gluten-free diet.
However, if you are gluten-sensitive, your bowel not getting damaged (although it is not working very well). But, your symptoms may get progressively worse if you keep eating gluten. For your good health it is best for you to stay gluten-free. Read our book on how to "Going Gluten-Free - how to get started" and stay gluten free.
Some people who are gluten-sensitive can tolerate small amounts of gluten now and then. But we do not advise this. Gluten can be toxic to your brain and nervous system. Stay gluten free.
