Will my doctor know about the tests?
Your doctor might not know what to test for. This is a major problem. Many doctors are not yet convinced that people react to gluten (other than getting coeliac disease). Oddly, the IgG-gliadin antibody test is not considered to be a useful test by most medics. This is because doctors have only been looking for coeliac disease. The concept of gluten-sensitivity (the gluten syndrome) is a new one. It will take a few more years for most doctors to get up to date on the topic.
To help you get the right tests, you should go to the blood tests page to get all of the information and instructions. Then we will help you to interpret them.
