I believe that :
“the decisions we made yesterday cannot be right for all time”. I love life! I am an enthusiastic person and I love to help people. Hopefully I can help you.
In medicine, I have spent my career tackling controversial topics. I started with food allergy when it was not fashionable. I struck lots of opposition from my medical colleagues. However, eventually most now agree with me. Food allergy does exist and is now an important part of everyday medicine.
I tackled cot death (SIDS) with a group of NZ doctors. We were told that we were much too ambitious, and that we were wasting out time. They said that we would never find an answer – but we did. Consequently, thousands of babies are alive today who might otherwise have died of SIDS.
Now I am tackling gluten! For some strange reason, most medics are living in a time warp about gluten. They believe what was decreed 30 years ago still holds true. They believe in coeliac disease alone. They refuse to recognise the wider harm of gluten.
My philosophy is to deal with children’s problems and symptoms, rather than making them sick by waiting for a more convincing diagnosis.
My philosophy is to life a full, healthy and vibrant life. I want to help as many people as possible achieve this goal. |
